CAMPA has designed its calendar and schedules to maximize student learning. All incoming sixth grade students will attend a Summer Bridge Program in August to prepare them for CAMPA’s rigorous middle school program. School will then begin for students in August until the third week in June. All regular holidays will be observed.
School will be in session daily Monday through Friday. Students will receive free breakfast as they arrive between 7:30 and 7:50 am. The school day for all students begins at 8:00 am. The school day is composed of one hour long class periods, which allow students to engage in challenging content.
• Math is taught for six hours per week to set students up to complete high school-level math in middle school.
• Beginning in 7th grade, students will participate in science labs to build the skills needed for college and careers.
• Students receive five hours of physical education and health class each week to promote wellness.
• All students will participate in art, music, and enrichment classes.
Students are dismissed at 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
